The House That Lore Built
Coming Soon - A knowledge
and skills exchange for
heritage homeowners and
historic building enthusiasts
Do you own a period property, are you renovating a home, or simply have a love for historic buildings? Perhaps you’re struggling to find reliable answers, unable to get hold of the right tradespeople, or feeling overwhelmed by the scale of a renovation project. If you’re looking for a supportive, knowledgeable community where you can learn how to care for and restore an old home, share experiences (both successes and challenges), and connect with like-minded people, The House That Lore Built is here to support you.
Founded from a deep passion for old buildings and a commitment to preserving heritage skills, our community exists to share knowledge, foster meaningful connections, and pass down the lore of traditional building and design for future generations.
You can become part of The House That Lore Built through our club meetings in Plymouth, South West England, as well as our online membership. Members enjoy access to inspiring talks, expert-led workshops, and recommendations for trusted heritage tradespeople. Together, we are dedicated to safeguarding historic buildings by supporting and sustaining traditional skills.
